Spending hours observing and searching for these tiny hummingbirds was beautifully challenging, with leaves moving everywhere in the rain.

Learning to recognize their calls helped me sense when they were nearby. They often return to the same branches to observe, sometimes even looking back at you. Yet when they hover steadily in front of a flower, you can only rely on your eyes, as their movement is completely silent
