Throughout the day, I kept looking out the window at the gray sky, wondering whether the supermoon would appear tonight. Arriving early at Mythenquai, I stayed hopeful as the horizon slowly began to clear.

To my surprise, our natural satellite suddenly appeared, poking through a layer of clouds. Those same clouds painted beautiful colors, shadows, and occasional halos around the moon.

It was interesting to realize how much harder it is to get a sharp focus when the craters’ shadows aren’t visible to guide you!
