Cautious Observation

As I was slowly walking through the San Francisco Botanical Garden, I came across a beautiful California scrub-jay. Its vivid blue feathers created a deep contrast against the green background, mixed with pink flowers, beneath the gray sky that day.

As I approached, it didn’t move, simply watching me, often turning its head.

During close encounters like this, I often find myself quietly asking questions, sometimes answered with a silent nod
