Depth in Haze

Going to Hardbrücke for the sunset always offers unexpected views.

Last Wednesday, I thought I was too late to see our star until a bright crimson disk emerged between distant buildings, still high above the horizon.

The unusually dense atmosphere deepened its colors and dimmed it enough to look at directly, allowing me to observe sunspots for the first time through my viewfinder
